The National Board of Review, a group made up of film educators and other professionals with no official ties to Hollywood, named "Blood Diamond" and "The Departed" in the Top 10 films of 2006.
"The Departed" also scored Best Acting by an Ensemble, and the Best Director Award for Martin Scorsese.
Djimon Hounsou, Leonardo's co-star in "Blood Diamond" won for Best Supporting Actor.
